Well, i just returned from church. hahas. great service with that sermon about "tithes"
. yeaps.
i'm reading straitstimes now. gosh. some world college totally thumped
our local top schools in 'the arena'. kay that shouldn't be a new topic.
But my jaws literally dropped when i saw the scores UWC-RI 94-6?!
Goodnessgracious. Followed by that was also the thumping scores of UWC - HCI, and all those schools. =(
One part worth mentioning was that the foreign school had a much more open way of teaching in comparison to our schools. They probably encourage more rebuttals and uhms,disagreeing with teachers? hahas we only see nonsensical rebuttals o'er here.
That's pretty sad eh?
Then, there's this troublesome home-econ practical to be done tomorrow. *sigh.
Jamus only told me a night earlier that i had to buy some broccoli and corn.
I asked my mum:
"what's the minimum quantity for broccoli that they sell at supermarkets? as in the individual pieces."
"one lorh .how many do you need?"
"uhh.. i don't know >.> i think maybe ten should be enough."
"you need so many meh? you know the size of broccolis not?!"
"of course. the size that i see on my plates right?"
"no no! it's the big big one. you can cut em into many pieces"
"huh really ah? i thought those big big ones that i saw before are other type of veggies. =.=" "
hey i really had no idea >.< sounds pretty hilarious. A fourteen teenage doesn't know what a broccoli looks like. hees;D
so. saufi's birthday (23feb). we had decided to chip in and buy a present for him. ohwell doesn't matter. belated by one month plus. we're used to it =)
